Paige Hareb

Paige Hareb was born July 6, 1990 in New Plymouth, New Zealand. In 2008 Paige became the first New Zealand woman to qualify for the ASP Women’s World Tour, aka “The Dream Tour” and limited to the best 18 surfers in the world. Her first ASP contest took place that year at the Billabong Pro in Hawaii where she won her second round heat, beating world no.2 Peru’s Sofia Mulanovich. In the third round she was beaten by World Champion Stephanie Gilmore.

In her rookie year of the 2009 World Tour she reached the semi-finals of the Roxy Pro in Coolangatta, Australia before being beaten by eventual winner, Stephanie Gilmore. During that same year, Paige became the Taranaki Sportsperson of the Year.

Paige has shown her aggressive surf domination at the Paul Mitchell Supergirl Pro in Oceanside by coming in 2nd place in both 2012 and 2014.
