OCEANSIDE, Calif./USA (Sunday, October 4, 2020) – The World Surf League (WSL) Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro, the specialty event held in Oceanside, Calif., witnessed two action-packed days of competitive surfing. The event featured WSL Championship Tour (CT) professional stars alongside surfings’ up-and-comers in a variety of team and individual heats.




Team California won the overall competition, and Team Lakey won the individual category in four-to-six foot surf. 14-year-old Caitlin Simmers claimed the win alongside Lakey Peterson in both their team (Team Lakey) win and also in the QS division, making Simmers the youngest Super Girl in the event’s history. Alana Nichols and Faith Lennox claimed the iconic Super Girl capes in the adaptive surf competition.
